Obama And The Christian Vote: A Personal Appeal From Gary
The Seattle PI chose to run an article titled, "Christian Right Intensifies Attacks On Obama," with an accompanying picture of Obama strolling in the garden while visiting his ailing grandmother in Honolulu recently. (Read Article).
The primary target of their own attack? Focus on The Family. And others like them.
They are bothered about that letter Dobson published and we and others posted on our website titled, "Letter From 2012 In Obama's America." A letter written from a Christian point of view of what could happen over the next few years of an Obama presidency, based on Obama's small voting record and his voluminous comments and promises.
The writers found a Denver based author who says she is evangelical, Margaret Feinburg, who would support their point of view, with comments about the letter, calling it "rhetoric that states opinion as fact," saying that material like that from Focus "will fail".
These and other writers who are attacking conservative Christians simply fail to understand our biblical worldview. This is not a matter of politics. Or perhaps they just dismiss it because it is not compatible with their own agenda.
The article says, "Steve Strang, publisher of Charisma magazine, a Pentecostal publication, titled one of his recent weekly e-mails to readers, 'Life as We Know It Will End If Obama Is Elected'."
What they do not tell you, and I know they know this, is that Strang made efforts to build a bridge to the Obama Christian supporters earlier this year. In fact, he was working with high level people in the campaign who asked him to give a prayer at the Democratic Convention. By the time the convention rolled around, Strang had seen enough to know that he could not, in good conscience, continue. He declined the invitation and withdrew.
There are valid reasons why many Bible-believing Christians are uncomfortable with Obama. We are not attacking, we are dissenting and informing. If the writers of this article really want to see "attack," they need only look at the continuous attack on Sarah Palin. And much of it is directed at her faith.
One of the most recent attacks is an article by Newsweek Magazine titled, "Jesus and Witches." That is despicable.
When the biased press attack conservative Christianity, it is reporting and informing. When Christians talk about what they honestly believe could be political and spiritual consequences of an Obama presidency, it is "fear mongering and hate."
There are, however, those evangelicals who support Obama and plan to vote for him.
A recent Barna Group study says that Christians who are in their 20's and 30's are more likely to vote for him.
Why? They say they believe he will do a better job restoring America's reputation, better handle on the economy and they agree with him on the war in Iraq.
May I make a personal appeal to you from a biblical and spiritual perspective?
If you are in your 20's and even 30's, you are in the process or setting your life's priorities--personally, professionally and spiritually.
David Barton, America's foremost Christian historian, has written an article titled, "Election 2008: Keeping First things First." It is posted on this website. It is not political, it is spiritual.
He reminds us that Proverbs teaches that, "Righteousness exalts a nation," so it would follow that advancing the issues that advance national righteousness must be a primary concern for biblical Christians.
This election must have a "national" (others) emphasis, not just a personal one.
If you believe the Bible, and I know you do, these things matter.
Barton shows how God gave a comprehensive system of 613 laws delivered through Moses, that were important to Him. God has also prioritized his issues.
The four highest ranking, non-negotiable issues are, 1. Judicial Appointments; 2. Abortion and Inalienable Rights; 3. Homosexuality and the Moral Law; 4. Public Religious Acknowledgements.
There are many other issues that God considers important such as personal wealth, a national economy, the environment, etc. However, the four most important issues are foundational to personal success and national success. Because America was built with this priority in mind, it is the most prosperous nation in human history.
Here's how it works:
Jesus taught, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own things." (v.34).
He is not teaching that we should abandon responsibility, rather understand that there is a process. Do not be overcome with fear. Keep your priorities straight.
Obama fails on every one of God's four priorities, if you look at it from a biblical point of view.
The economic crises has been used to drive fear among Americans and is being used as a political tool to convince people that if we make a radial change things will get better.
Certainly we need capable leadership. No question. But no one has the answers.
Jesus teaches that if we put first things first, these other things will follow.
Whatever McCain is or is not, I can assure you I know personally that he will appoint Justices who will honor the Constitution and the laws that have made our country great. He will stand against abortion. He believes life begins at conception. He believes in the sanctity of biblical marriage. One man, one woman. He believes in freedom to publicly express our religious beliefs. I know this because he has personally told me he believes these things and will stand for them as President.
"Let not your heart be troubled."
If you are considering a vote for Obama, or not voting as a protest because you supported someone else, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Much hangs in the balance.
There is a chilling statement in the Old Testament directed at God's people. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children," Hosea 4:6.
Let's get this right. Seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness and the economy, the culture, and the future will be added to you and will be blessed.

After talking to several thousand individuals and leaders, and hearing their feedback and resolve on the matter, I am personally certain Dino Rossi will win this election if people of faith and conservatives follow through and vote. You will make the difference.

The Big Infomercial. Did Obama Make Any Sales?
The words were masterful---they always are. The production was superb, much like his appearance in Denver last summer.
The infomercial embodied the best Hollywood production money can buy. The pictures were sensitive and appropriate. The music drove the emotion, just like at the movies. David Guggenhiem, who also produced and directed Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth," always does a great job and this was no exception.
Obama wrapped himself in "Americana" in what John McCain called, "A 'gauzy feel good commercial,' paid for with broken promises."
Broken promises.
As I watched Obama make his pitch, it was the "Paid for with broken promises," part that really bothered me and I had not yet heard McCain's comments.
During the primary elections, Obama promised that should he be the Democratic nominee, he would accept federal funding, thus limiting the amount raised and the amount spent on the general election. The condition was that the Republican must do the same.
McCain did. Obama did not. Obama broke his promise.
Broken promises.
He just can't quite level with people, but one of his closing lines last night was, "I will not be a perfect President. But I can promise you this---I will always tell you what I think and where I stand."
But his thinking and his standing keeps changing.
There is yet another story out there about a very questionable character that Obama knew as his BFF, but now he doesn't know him all that well and has no association with him.
McCain said of his infomercial, "He's got a few things he wants to sell you: He's offering government run health care...an energy plan guaranteed to work without drilling...and an automatic wealth spreader that folds neatly and fits under any bed."
It probably doesn't matter what he sells, because he is not truthful, he is, as they say, "pragmatic".
Breitbart.com ran an article last night shortly after the pitch, titled, "Obama's Prime Time Ad Skips Over Budget Realities." The opening line says Obama was, "Less than up front in his half-hour commercial Wednesday night," and they are usually favorable toward Obama.
AOL is running a story this morning titled, "Obama flexes Campaign Muscle," which talks about how McCain simply cannot compete with all that money.
A local radio news show this morning was interviewing an "expert" on how the infomercial will sell. The prognosis? I quote, "It's too bad that McCain couldn't have raised more money, because he really can't compete with that kind of spending."
Do we care that Obama broke his promise? Does anyone care that his statements are fluid and ebb and flow with who he happens to be talking to at any given moment? And how it will advance his personal agenda?
His past associations have been discussed widely and as he says, it's time to move on. Yeah, but it's hard to move on when it just keeps coming.
We all know that in 20 years of sitting under Rev. Wright's "ministry," he never heard any of that hate. We know that he was eight years old when Bill Ayers and his wife was bombing America (and says to this day he didn't do enough), only lived in his neighborhood and served on a board with him, launched his political career in his living room, etc. etc., but hardly knows him. He worked for and with the convicted felon, Tony Rezco, but says he was not the person I thought he was. Don't know much about ACORN, and the list goes on and on and on.
Now, another story has reemerged about the party in Los Angles where Obama is praising Rashid Khalidi, a Chicago professor who served as a spokesman for the Palestine Liberation Organization when it was a U.S. designated terror group.
The L.A. Times has a video tape and won't release it to the public because they promised the source they would keep it confidential. All the discussion yesterday and this morning was about the newspaper owing it to the American public to disclose the tape and it's likely negative remarks about Israel and her best friend America. I agree. We should know. If a similar incident occurred regarding McCain or Palin, the L.A. Times would be hawking the tape on every street corner. (Read Article).
But let's set that part aside for the moment, the L.A. Times isn't going to do anything that will potentially hurt their candidate anyway. It's not about their integrity. Let's look at how Obama described his relationship, based on what we do know, earlier this year and now.
The party was held in 2003. It was a farewell party for Khalidi who was going to another University. Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, also a convicted felon, were in attendance, along with other friends.
When the L.A. Times first ran the story some months ago, they quoted Obama calling Khanidi, his, "Friend and frequent dinner companion." Obama said his discussions with Khanidi were, "consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases...it's for that reason that I'm hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation...a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid's dinner table, but around this entire world."
You can decide what all those words mean.
When this story reemerged, Obama gave the Times a very different account of his friendship with Khalidi. He said of his former best friend, he "is not one of my foreign policy advisers. He is a respected scholar, although he vehemently disagrees with a lot of Israel's policy." I would say so. He disagrees with their interest in existing and possibly our own.
When Iran's President was a guest speaker at Columbia University last year, Khalidi told the New York Times he was "embarrassed" that University President Lee Bollinger wasn't "nicer to the head of the Islamic Republic during his visit."
The dinner table discussion, that should take place around the world, is certainly not in the best interest of Israel or the United States.
Why does he hang out with these guys, then lie about the extent of his relationship with them?
The greater question is why don't so many care?
"I will not be a perfect President." No one is perfect.
"But I can promise you this---"
We have learned that he can promise a lot of things. If Obama is elected, within four years of his election, he will have given you an America you have never known and it will be visited on your grandchildren and great grandchildren.
I promise.

Parents were shocked to learn that their kindergarten age children had participated in a "Coming Out Day" with a focus on being an "ally" to homosexuals, at their elementary school. Without the knowledge of the parents.
There are more pro-gay events over the next few weeks.
According to parents, the school failed to notify them in advance of the event. When confronted, the teacher refused to answer as to whether she had attempted to notify parents, referring them to the public school district.
A conversation between a mother and her kindergarten child is both telling and alarming.
A mother asked her 5 year-old daughter what she was learning in school. The 5 year-old replied, "We are learning to be allies."
The school in Hayward, California is planning more of the same in November, using promotional flyers portraying only homosexuals, according to the OutGayLife.com.
Some of the parents have retained Brad Dacus, President of Pacific Justice Institute, for representation.
Dacus said, "Do we need further proof that gay activists will target children as early as possible?"
The opponents of Prop 8 in California have been telling the public that the measure would not have any effect on public schools.
Dacus said, "In reality, they want to push the gay lifestyle on kindergartners, and we can only imagine how much worse it will be if Prop. 8 is defeated."
It was only a short time ago that a public school was loading kids into a bus and taking them to a so-called "gay marriage" at San Francisco City Hall. They have no restraint.
To those of you here in Washington and Oregon, I can assure you that we are only a step behind California in the rush toward gay marriage and beyond.
Senator Ed Murray, D-Seattle, has told Faith and Freedom that he intends to present a homosexual marriage bill to the Washington State Legislature this next 2009 session.
Public education in Washington and Oregon is essentially owned, as is the case in California, by the special interests of the gay lobbyists and the abortion industry. The gay and abortion agenda is fed into the curriculum and executed by activist teachers who are ready to risk their job for their cause. Our children are the victims of state-sponsored indoctrination.
Parents: Be very aware of what is going on in your child's class room.

One week from today America will vote on an agenda and direction that will impact our country and our communities for decades to come. Our children and grandchildren will live with our decision. No one believes that we are not at a crossroads. There are two very different and competing visions for our culture. One vision is based on Biblical norms and principles that have served to make America prosperous with greater freedom than any nation in the history of the world. The other is based on relativism and social experimentation in education, family, marriage and faith. It is an enemy to life itself.
People of faith are called to prayer--much prayer, during the next 7 days. __________________
Obama. Is He a Con Man?
Thomas Sowell, an African-American columnist, thinks he is. He says of Obama, "Some people take solace from the fact that Senator Obama has verbally shifted position on some issues, like drilling for oil or gun control, since this is supposed to show he is "pragmatic" rather than "ideological."
"But," he says, "political zig-zags show no such moderations as some seem to assume. Lenin zig-zaged and so did Hitler. Zig-zags may show no more than that someone is playing the public for fools." (Read Article).
Sowell makes his case very well and in doing so may lose a few friends.
"It was not," Sowell says, "this year's political campaign that Obama began in Bill Ayer's home, but an earlier campaign for the Illinois state legislature."
He says, "Barack Obama can match Bill Clinton in slickness at parsing words to evade."
He makes a strong case that the "real issues" of this election that we hear referenced so often, may in fact not be the "real issues." He points out that as a representative government, we must trust our elected officials, particularly the President.
He says once we recognize this basic fact of representative government, then the question of how trustworthy a candidate is becomes a more urgent question than the so-called "real issues." "A candidate who speaks two decades promoting polarization and then runs as a healer and uniter rather than a divider, forfeits all trust by that fact alone."
Sowell also explains why people are following Obama, even when there are so many questions about his past and so many things about him still unknown.
In an article earlier last week titled, "Believers In Barack," Sowell says the reason people follow him is because they are drawn to his charismatic, cool, personality and his appeal for change.
History, he says, "Has given us other candidates of 'change' including the 'change' in czarist Russia that brought in a communist regime that made czarist Russia look like child's play." He points out that other despotic regimes were ushered in on the wings of "change," including China, Cuba and Iran, reminding us also of Jim Jones, Hitler and Mao.
Change is easy to sell because it doesn't demand details.
"If Barack," he says, "had run as what he has always been, rather than on what he has never been, then we would simply cast our votes based on whether or not we agree with what he has always stood for."
Sowell says and I agree, "Some people see the fraud in what Obama is saying and are amazed that others do not. But Obama knows what con men have long known, that their job is not to convince skeptics, but to enable the gullible to continue to believe what they want to believe. He does that very well."

A major battle is underway in California to define marriage as between one man and one woman. It's called Proposition 8. But you already knew that.
Do you know who is the biggest donor and advocate of homosexual marriage in the state?
Hollywood liberals? No.
Civil Rights groups? No.
Homosexual Advocacy groups? No.
This will give you no comfort, but you should know.
The Wall Street Journal ran a story Friday titled, "Big Labor Does Gay Marriage" in which they report that the California Teacher's Union has donated more money to the pro-homosexual effort to defeat Prop. 8 than any other single organization in the state.
The Journal says you may be wondering, "What exactly gay marriage has to do with K-12 public education." They say, "Of the roughly $3 million raised by opponents of the measure so far, $1.25 million has come from the teacher's union."
We would wonder, out loud, why the teacher's union would not spend the teacher's money to help the teachers.
The article says in some years only about a third of NEA's budget has actually gone toward improving the teachers themselves.
So what does the NEA and their state affiliates do with all that money?
The Journal says, "In addition to vigorously fighting school choice and other reforms that benefit underprivileged children, but threaten the public education monopoly, the NEA (or via state affiliates) bank rolled ACORN, the Democratic Leadership Council, the Congressional Black Caucus and, naturally, the Human Rights Campaign, which lobbies for 'lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equal rights'."
The paper points out to teachers: "This is your dues money at work."
Noah Webster, the father of the modern public education system, who once said he felt the Bible as a textbook would be sufficient, would do the proverbial roll-over-in-his-grave, if he could see us now.
The NEA and their state affiliates have become nothing more that a far left-wing power grab and lobby group using the dues of hard working teachers.
Next time they look at you with a straight face and tell you they do not have an agenda other than merely educating your children, re-read this Wall Street Journal article, clear your throat and...suggest otherwise.

Warning from Christian Missionaries in Kenya
The international news services are now feeding stories to America that Europe is smitten with Obama mania. I personally saw a report yesterday where a French news anchor was saying that she and others were committed to Obama and felt Europeans should be allowed to vote in American Presidential elections because of the effect our elections have on Europe. She was serious.
The internationally read Investors Business Daily is not smitten with Obama, but they are very concerned about the possibility of his becoming President of the United States. In fact, they have been very candid about their concerns saying , "There is too much at stake to continue mincing words."
A couple of months ago they wrote an article titled, "Barack Obama's Stealth Socialism," making a reasoned and documented case that Obama is in fact a socialist. They reported the socialist influences he has embraced in his journey of self discovery, including the influence of his socialist leaning father. They point out that in his book dedicated to the memory of his father, he never once mentions his father's well known and documented political activities in Kenya.
IBD says, "In Kenya's recent civil unrest, Obama privately phoned the leader of the opposition "Luo" tribe, RailaOdinga, to voice support. Odinga is so committed to communism he named his oldest son after Fidel Castro."
They say Obama has been "in an orbit of collectivism that runs from from Nairobi to Honolulu, and on through Chicago to Washington."
The article is very good and I highly recommend you read it.
Yesterday I received an email that was sent from missionaries in Kenya. They too are very concerned. And very close to Obama's family tribe.
Some of you know that I have spent a number of years building churches, schools and hospitals in third world and emerging countries, including Kenya. Specifically, western Kenya. I have lived and worked with the people of that area. Kenya has been a relatively stable country since it's independence, until recent years. Very recently, after years of agitating and advocating for civil unrest by a minority, political unrest has boiled over with thousands of people being slaughtered and hurt. At the heart of the uprising is a man named Odinga from a village that I am very familiar with and with which we can have contact.
There are those in Africa, particularly in western Kenya, who sincerely believe young Barack Obama was born in the village of his father, not Honolulu. I don't know personally. The time I spent in that area was after his birth. Some who believe this, also believe that Obama's trip to see his ailing grandmother is also for the purpose of collecting documents that could disprove the birth certificate that he has produced as evidence of his being born in Honolulu. I don't know about this personally. However, there are those who are deeply committed to exposing what they believe to be true.
I am going to share a portion of an email from missionaries in Kenya. Parts of it will be omitted for obvious reasons. We do not want to put them in harms way. I know their names but will not share them or specifically which village they live in or anything else I feel would not be in their best interest.
In their own words:
"Regarding Obama: We are living and working in Kenya and know his family (tribe) well. They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here. Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence (over 350,000) and I don't know the last count of the dead."
"Obama, under 'friends of Obama' gave almost a million dollars to the opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, RailaOdinga, who is a socialist trained in east Germany. He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country! December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of rigged election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the U.S. we are sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying rigged election if he doesn't win, and possibly cause a race war in America."
"What we would like you to know is what the American press has been keeping a secret. Obama IS a Muslim and he IS a racist and this is a fulfillment of the 9-11 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is the only true Muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this July! He is not an American as we know it. Please encourage your friends and associates not to be taken in by those that are promoting him. It is world wide jihad. All our friends in Europe are very disturbed by the Muslim infiltration into their countries. By the way, his true name is Barak Hussein Muhammed Obama."
"Pray for us here in Kenya. We are still fighting for our nation to withstand the same kind of assault that every nation, including America, is fighting. Takeover from the outside to fit the new world order. As believers, this means we will be the first targets. Here in Kenya, not one mosque was burned down, but hundreds of churches were burned down, some with people in them, burned alive. Jesus Christ is our peace, but the new world order of Globalism has infiltrated the church and confused believers into thinking that they can compromise and survive. It won't be so. "
Love, ( missionaries)
Friends of Faith and Freedom, our country is staggering toward self destruction. If you have not read the letter I posted yesterday from "A Christian in Obama's America in 2012," created by Focus on the Family, please read it.
Wall Street Journal Deeply Concerned Over Obama Presidency
A story in the Wall Street Journal, titled "A Liberal Supermajority" indicates just how concerned the Journal is over the possibility of an Obama Presidency. They are concerned that if the present polls hold, that's exactly what is going to happen. Liberal Democrats will then consolidate their Congressional majorities, probably giving them a filibuster-proof Senate. Obama, Pelosi, Reed and other far left leaders will then be able to do whatever they please without restraint. No check and balance.
The Journal says they, "Doubt most Americans realize it, this would be the most profound political and ideological shift in U.S. history. Liberals would dominate the entire government in a way they haven't since 1965 or 1933."
The article makes predictions that they feel will likely happen in 2009 or 2010 as a result of an Obama win, in the area of health care, business, the rebuilding of unions by eliminating the secret ballot elections that union members have had since 1933, they will raise taxes regardless of what they are saying now, free speech and voting rights will be greatly undermined and eroded and special interest groups will thrive.
These six things don't even address the social values concerns of many of us in the faith community. Let me tell you what will absolutely happen in that area of our culture.
I also want to share a letter from a Christian in Obama's America in 2012.
Obama has promised the first legislation he will sign will be the so-called "Freedom of Choice Act" which will essentially strike down most every state law that in any way places a restriction on abortions. He has promised to abolish the "Defense of Marriage Act" which protects traditional marriage. Both he and his wife are champions of the gay rights lobby. Mrs. Obama spoke to the gay lobby at the Democratic Convention strongly advocating for gay adoption among other things.
The Wall Street Journal is right. If America continues on our present course we will see a profound shift in our county and in our culture. One most are not prepared for.
James Dobson and Focus on the Family put out a letter yesterday that illustrates how a Christian will see Obama's America in 2012. They have encouraged everyone to read it and pass it along. I'm doing just that. It's titled, "Letter From Obama's America in 2012." I strongly recommend you read it.
This is a time for much prayer and much action.
God help us.
________________ Gary Randall President Faith & Freedom
Recently, Senator Ed Murray, D-Seattle, openly gay and leader of the gay agenda in the Washington State Legislature, sent a message to Faith and Freedom, telling us that he was going to present a bill for gay marriage in the 2009 legislative session. His message was posted on our website comments.
Several years ago, I, along with a couple of Christian lawyers, was mocked for saying that the homosexual agenda was in fact not about "equality" and" fairness," but was a slippery slope that would lead to so-called "gay marriage." As the push for benefits emerged, we again warned that it was an incremental step toward homosexual "marriage."
The legislature, after much conversation about fairness, equality and the like, began to pass "hate crimes" bills and then "benefits bills" in unprecedented volume.
The public and the elected officials were led to believe that this was a time for them to stand for fairness and tolerance, to be open minded and allow others equality and benefits even if they personally did not believe that homosexual relationships were appropriate. And they did.
Now we find that while their agenda was shrouded in smoke screens of equality, tolerance and benefits, it was something quite different that they really wanted.
As the gay community and Governor Gregoire feel they are approaching the time to realize homosexual "marriage," we now find that they want more than that. They want MORAL APPROVAL.
These other issues are no longer enough. They are now demanding that you actually forsake your religious and social Biblically-based beliefs and look upon homosexuality as a "good thing."
They are re-educating your kids in public school under the guise of tolerance and are using the legal system for court-ordered moral approval.
If you think I am overstating the case, you must read it for yourself.
Professor John Corvino, Ph. D., a philosophy professor at Wayne State University in Detroit, lays it all out. I suppose you could call it "straight talk" from homosexuals. (Read Article).
Corvino's column titled "Why Moral Approval Matters" was written a couple of months ago and has been circulating in several magazines and periodicals. A pastor friend of mine sent it to me.
The article begins with, "'The problem with you people,' my critic scolded, 'is that you're no longer happy with merely being left alone. You don't just want us to tolerate homosexuality. You want us to think it is right'. "
He adds, "Of course I want people to think that homosexuality is morally equivalent to heterosexuality: Why think otherwise?"
An in depth philosophical look at how morality and moral approval works in our society and why moral approval must be achieved by homosexuals follows. You should read the article for yourself.
In conclusion he says, "The alternative to avoiding or ignoring other people's disapproval is to try to reverse it. Reversing it means convincing them that same-sex relationships are not merely tolerable, but morally good."
He adds, "And that's what we should aim to do." I would add that it is well under way in public education and in the courts.
I'm reminded of the Scripture in the first chapter of Romans that references people who, "Became futile in their thoughts and their foolish hearts were darkened." The result was that they, "Exchanged the truth of God for the lie," with the result being, among other things, being given to vile passions, including "Men leaving the natural use of the woman," burning, "in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful."
The Bible clearly defines and condemns homosexual behavior as sin.
Yet there are those among us who are working to "reverse" Biblical teaching and existing norms, replacing them with their own truth that homosexuality is good and should be embraced by society.
Moral approval means that you not just tolerate it as we have been told to do, but now we are being called on to embrace it. Applaud it. Advance it. You are to support and reward those in our society who do so under the banner of fairness, tolerance, equality and acceptance.
Governor Gregoire is celebrated as such a person. Homosexual rights organizations have been heralding her as the Governor who has signed more pro-homosexual legislation than any Governor in the history of the state. That is true.
Moral approval means you reject people, businesses and persons who do not morally approve of homosexual behavior.
You are asked to revise or reject Biblical teaching.
If you stand against homosexual behavior you are hateful, bigoted and immoral.
You know that this agenda is well under way in public education. They are "reversing" the Biblical teaching that you and your church and our society have traditionally held. They are using education as indoctrination.
Their agenda is well under way in the courts as well. Here are a few examples:
* A Christian ministry in New Jersey was investigated by the state after it declined a civil union ceremony for two women on it's property. The women could have gone elsewhere and eventually did, but continued to press legal charges. Why? To force moral approval.
* A complaint was filed against a photographer in New Mexico who declined to photograph a homosexual "commitment" ceremony. The couple found someone else, but still filed the complaint. Why? Moral approval.
*A counselor in Georgia was fired because she referred a woman in a same-sex relationship to another counselor for relationship counseling. The second counselor provided the needed counseling, but the lesbians still demanded that the first counselor be fired. And she was. Why? Moral approval.
*I wrote about the case of a woman in California who was in a same-sex relationship and wanted to be artificially inseminated. The first doctor declined on the basis of a policy against inseminating a woman who was unmarried. The first doctor referred the woman to another doctor who successfully preformed the procedure. The woman now has three children, but is still pursuing the first doctor in court. Why? Moral approval.
They don't care if you must violate your own beliefs and conscience, as long as they can ease their own.
Your Legislature is consistently passing laws under the guise of fairness, benefits, equality and tolerance which have now become the building blocks for the next wave. MORAL APPROVAL.
Sadly, Senator Ed Murray must feel that he has or nearly has critical mass in Washington's Legislature. A time when an adequate number of lawmakers have been re-educated or "reversed" and now feel it would be a moral act to advance so-called gay "marriage".
Faith and Freedom is working tirelessly to remind, encourage and nudge every Christian and person of faith to vote in this election. Your financial support would help a great deal at this time. Thank you and God bless you.

Biden Admits Obama Is Seen As Weak In National Security
At his closing event in the Puget Sound Sunday, Joe Biden made some remarkable comments. He told those attending his last fundraising dinner in the area that they were going to have to support a new administration through"Tough, tough decisions" and initially unpopular policies.
According to those who attended, he didn't disclose what those "tough, tough decisions" might be. (Read Article).
However, he did tell the faithful, "Remember, St. Peter denied Christ three times," and admonished Obama's followers such renunciation must not hit a new administration.
Frankly, the fixation on the part of the Obama people toward making comparisons between Obama and his detractors and those of Christ and the people who betrayed Him, is very troubling. First, there was the reference to Jesus being a community organizer like Barack and Pilate a Governor like Sarah Palin. Now we have a near Last Supper situation in which people are told not to repeat the mistakes of St. Peter in their loyalties to Obama.
This is sick.
But it was his near prophetic proclamation regarding Obama's first six months as President that left many wondering exactly what he was trying to say.
He told Obama's followers, "Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy." (See Article).
I personally remember Kennedy's test. I had just been declared in good health and ready to be sent to Vietnam.
Kennedy essentially failed his "test." The Bay of Pigs invasion was a fiasco and the summit with Soviet leader Nikita Krhauschev was a disaster and an embarrassment to America.
I personally think Biden and others close to Obama know how weak he is in national security and know that the world perceives him weak as well. That, in addition to his well documented lack of leadership experience at anything really, makes him a favorite to those who are not our friends and a concern for his closest followers.
Joe has spoken from the heart once again. He and his far left friends are pretty sure Obama is going to win the election, but equally sure that he will not perform well so are already trying to lower expectations.
It's interesting that the world didn't need to "test" Ronald Reagan. In fact hostages in Iran were released the day Reagan was inaugurated. Nor after 9-11, which was organizing during the Clinton years, did they ever feel the need to "test" President Bush.
They consistently "tested" Clinton.
Our country would be much better served if we would elect a President that terrorists knew not to "test." Someone who has been there and knows how it all works. Someone who isn't lost in the moment of "messiahship."
John McCain comes to mind.
This should be very, very troubling for many.
Colin Powell said he supported Obama because he would be a "transformational" President. I think I know what he means by that, but is this the right time for "transformational" politics? Too much is at stake. There is a better "transformational" candidate than this one.
The focus of Faith and Freedom is primarily on the social issues of marriage, family and life, but national security is something that touches everyone in our country. Obama clearly stands in opposition to traditional marriage, traditional family and the issue of life. He supports abolishing the Defense of Marriage Act, advancing abortion on demand and re-engineering the family.
Now his running mate, who is said to be an expert on national security, says he is perceived as weak and will be tested during the first six months of his administration.
Sound the alarm. Clear your head. Think. Pray.
Is this what you really want for your country?
God help us.

Joe The Plumber: An Inconvenient Question
Joe Wurzelbacher or "Joe The Plumber" as the world now knows him, had no idea that when Barack Obama wandered into his neighborhood last week for a few door knocks and a photo op with the "ordinary" people, that his question to Obama would so dramatically alter his life.
But it did.
Joe asked about Obama's tax plan--- I'm sure you've read all that. Obama's response, on camera, was not what the press wanted the "ordinary" folks to hear. Obama told Joe, "I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
That's socialism.
A majority in the press also believe that, but they know a majority of Americans do not want to live under socialism, so this was a call to active duty for their candidate.
Obama's words were difficult to deny as they circulated around the world on video, so the press did what they have tried to do to Sarah Palin and others with whom they disagree: discredit and destroy.
They put out stories about Joe's divorce, his custody battle for his son, his unpaid taxes and a list of other hurtful "facts". Frankly, they have looked more deeply into the life of a plumber from Ohio than they have the life and relationships of their presidential candidate Obama.
This weekend Joe finally spoke publicly to Mike Huckabee about how he personally feels about the matter.
Saturday, on Mike Huckabee's new Fox show, "Huckabee," Joe told Mike that this whole thing has hurt, personally. He said he only came on the show because some of his friends in the military urged him to do so. (Read Article).
He said, "The media's worried about whether I've paid my taxes, they've worried about any number of silly things that have nothing to do with America."
He told Huckabee, "I felt about that small, I mean I really did." I watched his father and son who were in the audience and it was obvious that they too had been hurt by the personal attacks.
Unfortunately, his personal life does have something to do with America. Joe's simple and sincere question exposed how Obama really feels about "redistribution of wealth" a staple of socialism. Obama's words are out there, so the only option left to the press is destroy the guy who asked the question.
Joe said what many are thinking, "You know, when you can't ask a question of your leaders anymore, that gets scary."
Scary indeed. This is a real clear picture of how an Obama presidency would play out.
William Kristol wrote an op-ed column for The New York Times yesterday, titled "Here the People Rule." I found it very interesting and sincerely hope he is right. You may want to read it as well. I have provided a link.
God help us.

ACORN Just Won't Go Away
Obama is so certain he will win the Presidency, that he has rented Hutchinson Field in Chicago for a huge election night party. The CBS affiliate in Chicago is reporting that they rented the field last week and security arrangements are under way this week.
However, yesterday federal authorities announced that the FBI has launched an investigation into ACORN over the possibility of a nationwide voter scam being run by ACORN.
While the party is being planned, Obama's guy named "Joe" put out an email late yesterday afternoon that says, "Anyone that tells you this election is already decided is dead wrong. Let's not forget the 2000 election, when Al Gore was up by double digits in October."
Others are agreeing with "Joe."
Dick Morris, who worked for the Clinton White House, says he thinks ACORN still may be Obama's downfall.
Morris thinks the ACORN mess is certainly an embarrassment to Obama and may prove to be more. Obama used to be one of them. He served as their general council, he and Ayers channeled millions of dollars to them from the Chicago Anneberg Challenge and has lately spent $800,000 of his campaign money to subsidize the group's activities. (Read Article).
Morris said last Monday, "A man whose spiritual advisor is Wright, whose financial backer is Rezko and his first major employer is William Ayers might not be a good choice for President."
It is possible that as this ACORN matter comes to the surface people may pause and take a second look at what they are about to do.
Maybe "Joe" is right. Maybe Obama and his party planners are dead wrong.

The Final Debate
As I watched the final formal Presidential debate last night, I was vividly reminded of an experience that I had on South First Street in Yakima back in 1963.
It was a vivid memory.
My 1956 Chevy had done it's job and it was time to get something new--different, I needed a change.
Newly married, with not much money, I was looking for the best deal I could find. The man in the car lot told me the shiny almost new Ford was a steal. It was exactly what I needed. It was a change from my customized Chevy. The glistening paint shown under the evening lights. Two-door hard top. What a car. Low miles.
The man assured me the fact that the door didn't fit exactly as it should would be no problem. He said the paint looked new because these newer cars had new kinds of paint. Not like the old ones. My car was from the fifties, it had old style paint. This car was made in the sixties, it had new better paint.
Without checking with someone older and wiser than myself, I signed the deal.
The next morning I was assured I had made the right decision. The car was even more beautiful than I thought.
Before a year had past, the shiny paint had begun to crack and peel off. The door that had not fit perfectly now needed a stronger arm to close and there were other things that didn't fit and the car vibrated a little when you went over 60.
After a careful inspection, a trusted mechanic slid out from under the car and said, "Gary, this car has been badly damaged, maybe a head-on collision. It looks great but nothing really fits as it should."
In a flashback moment, I saw that salesman last night and it wasn't McCain.
America is getting ready to sign a deal and a pragmatic salesman is telling us not to worry about his unseemly past, his personal beliefs or his patriotism, with a denial and a change of subject.
There are yet many unresolved issues with this man and what he is selling. There is Ayers, ACORN, Wright, Rezko and a host of other friends who were never friends.
There are social issues, like traditional marriage and family that he "favors" but supports the homosexual agenda.
He says he is a Christian, but publicly disagrees with the teachings of Jesus on the issue of Jesus being the only way to God the Father. How does that work?
Then there is the profoundly important issue of abortion. He says he wants to reduce abortions, while supporting the most aggressive advancement of abortion in the history of our country.
Robert George is a Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. He is also a member of the President's Council on Bioethics and previously served on the United States Commission on Civil rights.
He has written the most profound article I have ever read on the subject of abortion. It is titled, "Obama's Abortion Extremism." If you were to read only one article on the subject, it should be this one. I have linked it, please read it before you sign the deal.

Last week a public school took a group of 18 first graders to a so-called "gay marriage." They called it a field trip. The kids teacher, Erin Carder, "married" her lesbian friend of two years. The ceremony was preformed by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom at City Hall.
When questioned about taking the kids to the "wedding," the principle said she thought it was okay because it was a "teachable moment."
Indeed it was.
Rosie Avila, a Santa Ana Unified School board member said she didn't agree with the decision at all. She said, "Prop. 8 protects our children from being taught in public schools that "same-sex" marriage is the same as traditional marriage." She said, "We should not accept a court decision that results in public schools teaching our kids that gay marriage is okay---It shouldn't be forced on us against our will."
The gay activists have been doing in California what they always do--denying any predatory actions on the part of gays. In fact they have been running television ads calling people who say they would teach "gay marriage" in public schools, liars.
While running the ads, they are indoctrinating first graders and calling it a "teachable moment."
However, it appears the "teachable moment" has backfired. Big time.
Last week the Yes On 8 campaign launched a television ad campaign of their own, using Mayor Gavin Newsom, in his own words, declaring, "The doors are wide open now. It's gonna happen, whether you like it or not". (See Article).
While the gay activists and Hollywood types are assuring the public that the court ruling in favor of homosexual marriage will not affect public education in any way, public education is taking kids on a field trip to a "homosexual wedding," while California and the rest of the country watches.
Even the San Francisco Chronicle recognized that this whole episode is a gift to the people who support traditional marriage and Prop. 8.

Farrakhan On Obama: "The Messiah Is Absolutely Speaking"

Farrakhan On Obama: "The Messiah Is Absolutely Speaking"
Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan, told a crowd at a Nation Of Islam Savior's Day 2008 rally, speaking of Obama, "When the messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the messiah is absolutely speaking."
Farrakhan also pointed out to the crowd that the man Nation of Islam followers refer to as "the Savior," Fard Muhammad, had a black father and a white mother, just like Obama.
He said, "A black man with a white mother became a savior to us, a black man with a white mother, could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."
But is isn't only Farrakhan who is thinking of Obama as messianic. Others are echoing those thoughts in their own ways as well. The comments of how Obama physically affects Chris Matthews of MSNBC are well documented. He said on the air he gets a tingle in his leg when he hears Obama giving a speech. Mark Monford of the San Francisco Chronicle, Donna Brazile, Rep. Steven Cohen, D-Tenn. and others have all made messianic comparisons.
But how does Obama feel about Obama? Does he have a messianic complex?
His words at Dartmouth College give cause for pause and concern.
Worldnetdaily.com has done a good job covering this story. They have also posted a video of Farrakhan's speech.
They quote Farrakhan saying to his crowd, "You are instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't even care anything about. That's a sign. When the messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the messiah is absolutely speaking."
He also refers to Obama as "The stone that the builders rejected has become the headstone of the corner. This is a sign to you. It's the time of our rise. It's the time we should take our place. The future is all about you."
You will note in the video that he backs off just a bit on the "messiah" message and says, "he is not the messiah for sure, but anytime he gives you a sign of uniting the races, ethnic groups, ideologies, religions and makes people feel a sense of oneness, that's not necessarily Satan's work, that is, I believe, the work of God."
The press and Obama's far left constituents quickly respond to these kinds of things by saying, "Well that's not Obama saying that, he can't control Farrakhan's or Rev. Wright's comments, etc., etc. And that's true to a point, but what about Obama's words at Dartmouth College?
He told students, "A light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize you must go to the polls and vote," for Obama.
When you throw all this on top of the school teacher in California who taught some little kids songs that were very similar to Christian worship songs, except they praised the virtues of Obama, people fainting while he speaks, the influence of racist, anti-American teaching by Rev. Wright for twenty plus years and a long list of very questionable relationships that Obama denies, it is not a stretch to be more than a little concerned.
I have said it before, but it bears repeating: This election is not merely about politics. It is about ideology--worldview.
Farrakhan also mentions on the video that when religious scholars talk about Christ or the Islamic Madhi, they never talk about race--again pointing out Obama's mixed racial background. This is both a spiritual and a cultural matter.
It isn't helpful to see Obama deplaning on the campaign trail carrying the book he is currently reading; Zakari's "The Post American World."
While the book may have some intellectual value, its premise is simply that America has passed its peak as a super power and we should be preparing for a post American world wherein America merely takes its place among other leaders and essentially is not a leader, but rather "among leaders".
The author says, "The current political debate in the United States is utterly out of touch with the broad developments, obsessed with issues like terrorism, immigration homeland security and economic panics."
Zakaria draws from the great two power shifts of the past 500 years--the rise of the Western World and the United States to tell the reader what we can expect from the third shift, the "Rise of The Rest." He says the great challenge for Great Britain was economic decline and the great challenge for America is political decline.
The book is a litany of ways America can move beyond her exceptionalism to becoming one of the bunch--mediocrity. He says it is inevitable.
I would call all Christians to prayer. This is a spiritual matter. It is not merely a political matter, it's not about party or politics.
Pastor Matthias Burnett, a pastor of the First Baptist Church in Norwalk, said in his sermon on May 12, 1803, "Look well to the characters and qualifications of those you elect and raise to office and places of trust."

We have written about the corruption scandals of ACORN and Barack Obama's relationship to the organization. (See Blog).
There is a consistent attempt on the part of Obama to play down this and a number of other relationships that could be problematic for his quest to be President.
While both he and the media have been forced to admit that he represented ACORN in a lawsuit in 1995, both have been very careful to downplay or even deny any other aspect of his relationship with ACORN.
In fact, information has been stricken from popular websites that refer to his past ties to ACORN.
The article documents Obama's deep ties to ACORN using stories and documents that had previously been removed from the Internet.
Over the weekend, Obama changed the "Facts" on his website, restating his "truth" about the matter.
The Leader has captured the statement on his website before they ran the article and then after.
The web of deceit continues.
The day The Leader ran the story, Obama's fightthesmears.com site said, "Fact: Barack was never an ACORN trainer and never worked for ACORN in any other capacity."
Following the story, the truth had been altered to read, "Fact: ACORN never hired Obama as a trainer, organizer or any other type of employee."
The Leader did a follow-up story today about the changes. (See Article).
The original "fact" implied that he had no working connection with ACORN, while the new "fact" now insists he has never been "employed" or "hired" by ACORN.
The Cleveland Leader points out that this episode makes one wonder what else exists in his long relationship with ACORN and what else could be so harmful that they would lie about facts and remove articles from the Internet. Case in point: The Social Policy article retrieved by The Leader.
There is a web of deceit and misleading statements that surround this man. I do not believe he is who he says he is. He is a product of those who created him during what he calls, "His journey of self discovery." I do not believe he is the smiley face of hope and change that he would have Americans believe.
While I appreciate John McCain's civility in his remarks concerning Obama this past weekend, the evidence suggests he may be mistaken. Based on what I have seen and read I would respectfully disagree with my friend. Barack Obama is the result of layers and layers of untoward relationships.
He is selling social programs and things he can never deliver and he knows it, while promising Planned Parenthood to remove all restraint on abortions-on-demand. And unfortunately, he can deliver on those promises. He represents the greatest threat to Judeo-Christian values that has ever attempted to win the White House.
This man is not who he appears to be.
Buyer beware.
If you have ever been inclined to pray for this country, this would be the time. We stand at a crossroad. The decision America makes regarding who will lead, will have profound implications for decades to come.
I call you to prayer and to action.

Obama and the Supreme Court
Curt Levey, director of the Committee for Justice, says given Obama's opposition to the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, the nations highest court under an Obama administration would likely reverse the federal ban on partial birth abortion.
Levey, whose group monitors judicial activities and nominations, says two of the top ten priorities of an Obama Supreme Court would be to find that there is a constitutional right to tax-payer funded abortions and to order all 50 states to "bless" homosexual "marriages".
Levey says this will certainly happen if Obama is elected because three of the sitting Justices are ready to retire. They will give him their support in these matters, and then, I believe they will retire in time for him to replace them with younger liberal Justices during his first term. And Congress, as it is presently configured, will give nearly anything he may ask for. There is a liberal majority.
Levey's organization has compiled a, "Top Ten Things To Expect From An Obama Supreme Court."
Levey believes abortion tops Obama's Court agenda, and so do I.
After all, Obama is deeply indebted to not only the Chicago political machine that created him, but to the abortion industry that has worked so hard for him and to whom he has promised the world. NARAL, Planned Parenthood, EMILY'S LIST and others will collect on his promises.
Every person of faith and conservative must vote this election. We are doing everything humanly possible to get everyone to vote. It is absolutely imperative that we show up for this election. Your help and support is much appreciated.

Last Summer, Mort Kondracke, editor of Roll Call Magazine and a Democrat, was asking about the authenticity of Barack Obama. He said, "Is this guy the real deal, or an eloquent phoney?" (Read Article).
Unfortunately more should be asking the same questions.
Cathleen Falsani, Chicago Sun-Times religion columnist, has also been getting acquainted with Barack Obama for the last couple of years. Recently she felt it would be helpful to publish her initial interview with Obama back in 2004. The interview focuses on his faith.
He talks about the faith, or lack of faith of his mother, father and grandparents. He speaks of Rev. Wright and Father Michael Pfleger as "dear friends" and people he "interacts with closely."
He explains that he sees the Constitution as resolved to prevent, "Disruptive strains of fundamentalism from taking root in this country."
Perhaps most telling is his lengthy and wordy explanation of who he thinks Jesus is and his disagreement with the core Christian belief that Jesus is the only way to God. This subject comes up twice in the interview.
Day before yesterday, a lawyer friend of mine sent me a short list of comments from Obama's book, "Dreams of my Father." In his own words, we get a better look at who this man may be.
The following is a list of statements Obama made in the book, "Dreams of my Father."
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."
"I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."
"There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."
"It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."
"I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela."
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
I sincerely hope and pray that somehow America will have "an eye to see and an ear to hear" the truth, before we cast a direction that will impact our country for decades into the future.

Personal Response on Last Night's Presidential Debate:
First, I thought Tom Brokaw, the moderator of the debate last night, was the worst so far. While I didn't think he showed favoritism, I thought the questions he chose cheated both candidates. I think he thought it was about him.
Secondly, some from our readership were more than a little critical of our comments about Obama's ties to William Ayers, the terrorist. While Obama may have been eight-years-old when Ayers and his group were bombing America, he was all grown up in 2001 when Ayers stood on the American flag in a Chicago alley and told the press that the Weather Underground had, "Not done enough." When that picture was taken, Ayers and Obama were serving together on the board of the Woods Fund. They were involved in a number of projects together on behalf of the Fund. In 1995, he launched his political career in Ayers living room. Obama is misleading the public on this subject. (See story and photo).

ACORN Raided. Muslims Register Voters For Obama
Yesterday morning I published a story about ACORN and the threat they pose for voter fraud. I pointed out that Obama has had a long term relationship with this organization as their legal counsel and as a "how to" seminar teacher for the organization. (Yesterday's blog).
We have also learned that a group called "Muslim Americans for Obama" (MAFO) is holding Obama rallys under the guise of voter registration. They say they are "non-partisan," but their website describes their mission as, "To provide a vehicle for Muslim-American supporters of Barack Obama to organize and mobilize our fellow citizens to get out the vote to elect Barack Obama the next President of the United States."
MAFO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization prohibited by law from directly intervening for or against a political candidate.
Is the government looking into the matter?
First, the ACORN raid in Nevada: Fox News was reporting yesterday that, "Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud."
Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada Secretary of State's office told Fox News that the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about "erroneous" registration information "being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN."
Secretary of State, Ross Miller, said the fraudulent registrations included forms for the Dallas Cowboy's football team, including Tony Romo and Terrell Owens.
Fox said in the story that, "In 2006, ACORN also committed what Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed called the 'Worst case of election fraud' in the state's history."
In this case ACORN had submitted just over 1,800 new voter registrations. All but 6 of the 1,800 were fake. And they and Obama have been doing this for a long time. You do the math.
Obama has been their legal counsel and their "how to" seminar teacher. It's a matter of record.
Secondly, a Muslim group is working illegally, according to IRS Code, in supporting Obama. Their organization is a 501(c)3 which, under IRS rules, can not advocate or intervene for or against a political candidate. (Read Article).
This is why Faith and Freedom is an organization of three related but separate organizations-- a 501(c)3, a 501(c)4, and a Political Action Committee (PAC). We are in full compliance with the IRS code, according to the IRS.
The Muslim group is raising tax deductible donations to elect a specific candidate. They are holding what they call "Obama voter registration and get out the vote drives" in mosques in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia and Ohio.
The groups web site also says, "Although there is only a short period of time until the election...there is much work to be done for supporters of Barack Obama's candidacy."
I am not suggesting that Obama is involved in this. He doesn't need to be. Do you remember a presidential campaign that had Muslims organized for a candidate?
I believe the Muslims have every right to support their candidate. I don't believe they should be left unchecked to disregard the law with out consequence.
Robert Spencer, director of JIHAD WATCH, says the Muslim group is skirting the law. Spencer says he doubts anything will be done about the violations because of political correctness.
He said if some group was called "Christians for McCain" and was operating as a 501(c)3, it would be all over the media and would be seen as a scandal, yet he doubts because of who it is, nothing will be done.
I wish Obama's Muslims would be held to the same standards to which we and others are held.
We are moving ever closer to making a decision that will have impact on our culture for decades to come. I hope and pray we do not elect a President that has no leadership experience, lacks a basic understanding of what it has taken to protect the freedoms we enjoy in America and is bankrupt on the moral issues of life, marriage and family and will lead the country away from, not toward those principles that have made America great.

ACORN: More Concerns About Obama and His Relationships
John Fund, a columnist for the Wall Street Journal, says he has serious concerns about the left-wing organization ACORN--Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, because it has received tax money and also has close---very close ties to Barack Obama.
ACORN is involved in voter registration, among other things, and has been involved in scandals in about a half dozen states and have had people convicted in St. Louis, Kansas City and Seattle.
Obama has had a serious long-term relationship with ACORN, serving as its attorney and as a leader for their leadership training seminars, teaching "how to" classes.
Fund says ACORN, according to former employees, "Simply want to register as many people as possible---and they don't particularly care if they really exist or not."
He says, "Obama actually litigated on their behalf in several election law cases in which he was trying to water down laws designed to prevent voter fraud."
But there's more.
Now Obama is endorsed by their political action arm. Fund says, "He spoke last year at their annual convention and has never criticized their methods, never criticized the spreading scandals that surround them, both in financial terms and in terms of violating the voting laws."
He points out that this relationship, "Creates the potential for voter fraud, because in most states, you don't even have to show ID to vote, and there is precious little in our honor system of voting."
Obama has trained ACORN's people and in turn they work for him in campaigns.

Sarah Palin set off a frenzy this weekend. The press has once again been called to active service and been deployed to cover for Obama.
She said, "Our opponent...is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."
She also said, "This is not a man who sees America as a force for good in this world. We see an America of exceptionalism." (Read Article). She was of course, making reference to William Ayers and his wife. Obama has repeatedly denied that he has a relationship with the two who bombed buildings and people in the 60's with the Weather Underground, a terrorist organization they founded, but there are many who feel he has not been forthcoming with the nature and depth of his relationship with the Ayers, Tony Rezco, a convicted felon, Rev. Wright and others.
Obama's political career was launched in the Ayer's living room and as lately as 2001, Ayers told the New York Times that they should have done more bombing.
And today we are finding that Obama may be illegally receiving tens of millions of dollars from foreign contributors.
The press has been working overtime, almost above their pay grade, to cover for Obama. But why don't they care about this man's apparent lack of transparency about such things?
Was Palin's comments fair? Should America know about these and other relationships, or should they merely be swept under the proverbial rug for the "greater good"?
The Associated Press said yesterday, "Whether intended or not by the McCain campaign, portraying Obama as 'not like us' is another potential appeal to racism." Their story is titled "Palin's Words May Backfire On McCain." I'm sure they hope that will be the case.
Over the same weekend, however, Obama released a television ad that calls McCain, "erratic in a crises." (See Ad). This is a direct attack on his age.
We have learned from this that age discrimination is okay, but racism is not--- according to the press---on this matter.
There has been a pattern with Obama, that is becoming more and more evident. When questioned about potentially harmful issues such as relationships with untoward individuals, he initially denies the relationship (except with that of Rev. Wright), then when more information comes out, he redefines the relationship, then if even more is revealed, he says, "I never knew him" or in Obamaspeak, "He is not the person I knew or I sure didn't know that about him, he sure fooled me. I am really disappointed in him."
In the case of Rev. Wright, Obama said he never heard any of the racial comments against whites or the anti-American sermons. No one sits in a church for twenty years with out knowing full well where the pastor is coming from, yet the press and Obama has led many in America to believe that that was true in the case of the Obamas'.
It is not only Sarah Palin that is beginning to express concern but surprisingly, there are now some in the press, as well, that are taking a second look at this pattern.
Steve Chapman, a Chicago Tribune columnist and member of the paper's editorial board, said Sunday that the relationship that Obama was so disingenuously trying to play down does matter. (Read Article).
He said, "It's hard to imagine he [an Obama supporting columnist] would be so indulgent if we learned that John McCain had a long association with a former Klansman who used to terrorize African-Americans. Obama's conduct exposes a moral blind spot about these one-time terrorists who get a pass because they a) fall on the left end of the spectrum and b) haven't planted any bombs lately."
He says, "You can tell a lot about someone from his choice of friends. What this friendship reveals is that when it comes to practicing moral hygiene, Obama has work to do and no interest in doing it."
We too, have much work to do. I, however, am very interested in doing it and I believe you are as well.
I do not want my children and grandchildren to live in Obama's America.

The media has done all they could do to destroy Sarah Palin, so as she stood tall and strong in front of millions of Americans last night, it left some of her critics scrambling. Keith Oberman, a fierce critic, was heard asking his colleagues, "So, she didn't do anything to help McCain, did she?"
Yes, Mr. Oberman, she did.
In fact, she was great. John McCain said last night that she proved beyond any doubt that she is ready to lead as Vice-President of the United States.
She connected with the audience in ways the American public is not accustomed to seeing from a politician. She admitted she is a Washington outsider. That was abundantly clear and very refreshing.
Her ability to bypass the media and their filter, she, in this venue, spoke directly to the American people in ways that was reminiscent of Ronald Reagan.
Joe Biden was pretty much as usual. He is what he is and has been for the past 30 years in the Senate. He does not represent change. I was reminded why he never received more than 1 or 2% of the vote in his two attempts at the Presidency.
Biden got it wrong when he gave his lecture on the Constitutional role of the vice-president.
He was evidently so intent on attacking Vice-President Dick Cheney, that he lost his way and said the role is to support the President and preside over the Senate. "Only in a time when in fact there's a tie vote. The Constitution is explicit."
The Constitution actually says the vice-president is always president of the Senate and legal scholars say he has the right to preside at any time. Thomas Jefferson and others actively exercised that role. Palin said she intends to exercise that role as well. She said she is very serious about the responsibilities.
Biden, after 30 years in Washington, should have known better, but he also said that the executive branch is defined in Article 1 of the Constitution. In fact that is not true. Article 1 describes the legislature. It is Article 2 that lays out the executive branch.
There is a vast and obvious difference in the direction America will go after this election. We have an opportunity to advance righteousness. This is an election that conservatives and people of faith cannot afford to lose.
Please join us with your prayers and with your support.

Palin-Biden Moderator Counting on an Obama Presidency
If the moderator for tonight's Palin-Biden debate had recently written about John McCain using words like, "Stunning," or phrases like, "The era of McCain," you might think she would be more than a little bias.
And if that were the case, the press would be beside themselves in trying to "inform" the public.
The moderator, Gwen Ifill, for the debate tonight not only favors Obama, but stands to loose a considerable amount of money if he doesn't win.
Here's why.
Ifill has written a book titled, "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age Of Obama." The book is scheduled to release on inauguration day.
The books promotional piece says, "In 'The Break through,' veteran journalist Gwen Ifill surveys the American political landscape, shedding new light on the impact of Barack Obama's stunning presidential campaign and introducing the emerging young African American politicians forging a bold new path to political power."
There is, of course, no outrage on the part of the press, rather a paternal silence.
Tonight we are expected to believe that a woman who has proclaimed this to be, "The Age Of Obama," will simply be doing her job and being fair to both candidates.
Did the Commission on Presidential Debates know about this book when they chose Ifill? If they didn't, why didn't they know? If they did, where is the outrage?
If Obama wins the election, Ifill stands to sell considerably more books. Both she and her publisher stand to profit from an Obama win.
We have been encouraging people to post a Prayer for Palinon our website. This would be a good day to remember her in prayer.

This has not been a good couple of weeks for Planned Parenthood. They are coming under investigation for fraud and one of their websites was forced to remove what many were calling pornography.
Four years ago, state auditors in California began reviewing Planned Parenthood affiliates, but the audit was stopped after just one review was completed. That single audit found that Planned Parenthood of San Diego and Riverside Counties over-billed the government more than $5.2 million.
Now members of Congress have stepped up.
A regional website of Planned Parenthood has been showing what many called pornographic videos. They were calling it "sex-ed". Public outcry has forced them to take off the videos.
About 50 members of Congress have asked the Health and Human Services Secretary to conduct an audit of Planned Parenthood over billing practices similar to those in the San Diego area.
As you may know, Planned Parenthood receives government funding through the Title X Family Planning Program.
Some believe that Planned Parenthood is over-billing the government hundreds of millions of dollars each year.
The Columbia-Willamette Planned Parenthood operation also has been forced to remove sexually explicit videos from its website. Again, they were calling them "sex-ed," the public was calling them pornography.
Katie Walker with American Life League said, "It was a series of ten videos. It included almost pornographic material aimed at pre-teens and younger, including high school kids doing all kinds of immoral sexual activity."
Only after public outcry did Planned Parenthood finally take them off their site.
This is one more example of how they use so-called "education" for purposes of indoctrination.
Walker said, "This is another attempt by Planned Parenthood to sexualize the country's youngsters."
Planned Parenthood shows no restraint. They will go as far as the public and government will allow them to go. They are a public cancer.
