America Under Siege by Homosexual Activists and Lobbyists
Colorado has passed a so-called "hate-crimes" law which could ban the distribution of the Bible in that state (see yesterday's blog), California homosexual activists are putting on a full bore effort to derail and now revise the Initiative that is intended to once again define marriage as between a man and a woman, but it is Massachusetts that has again risen to leadership as we "Slouch toward Gomorrah."
A majority of the elected officials in Washington and Oregon are following the same play book.
Last Thursday, Gov. Deval Patrick signed a bill repealing a 95-year-old statute that had prevented homosexual couples from most other states "marrying" in Massachusetts.
After signing the bill, Patrick said, "It's a great day." He said his signing of the bill will, "Confirm a simple truth: that is, in Massachusetts equal means equal."
Patrick also affirmed that Massachusetts will, "Continue to lead the way as a national leader."
The Boston press made a point to note the lack of reaction or resistance to this latest advance of the homosexuals' agenda, however, MassResistance, a Mass. pro-life, pro-family organization reported on their website that there was, "widespread" internal dissent among lawmakers and "overwhelming negative outpouring from the public." They also reported that the strong-arm homosexual lobby was not subtle during the process, with homosexual lobbyist Bill Conley standing in the entrance to the chamber while the lawmakers voted, reminding them he and others were watching.
Gay activists are fixated on re-engineering our social order, particularly marriage and the family, while the press seems to often come along behind to assure the public that everything is okay--no big deal--right thing to do.
While this action directly effects Massachusetts, it also effects all the other states, including us, because now homosexuals can go to Mass. and get "married," then begin to seek recognition in their home states, thus further eroding people's right to define marriage in a traditional sense.
You will soon begin to hear of this happening.
In California, the pro-traditional marriage people have been thrown another curve.
Originally, their ballot initiatives' summary statement explained that the amendment simply defined marriage as between a man and a woman, which it does. Now the state has added a statement that says it will, "eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry." Fortunately, the Alliance Defense Fund and several other similar organizations have filed an emergency lawsuit to delete the negative and misleading additions to the ballot.
Take note: Washington and Oregon are prime for these kinds of actions and homosexual activists here in the Northwest are following their lead.
Electing new lawmakers that hold to traditional and conservative values is the most affective way to restrain this assault on all that is decent.

So, rather than take the word of the local media, Gary links to a biased report from a know hate group, namely Mass Resistence. Mass Resistence has been identified as a hate group by the foremost authority on hate groups in this country (the Southern Poverty Law Center) for some years now, I find it hard to believe that Gary was unaware of this fact when he chose to link to them.
I enourage everyone reading this post to follow that link, poke around and see the kind of respectful dialog on this issue that Gary endorses. At least we have a clearer picture of the kind of company alleged centerist Dino Rossi has been keeping!
I think that we should be to busy worrying about own sins rather than punish others for their sins.
Let God punish same sex partners.
God know their whole stories so that he can judge fairly.
We don't feel there needs to be punishment from these behaviours. Yes, God knows their whole stories, and HE can deliver them from these deviant life styles.
Punishment -no.

Ralph I think it is a bit of stretch to say Marriage Laws are a punishment to homosexuals . Just as it is to say gays getting married is a punishment of any sorts to hetrosexuals .
I always viewed it as what is best for all of us . But I agree throwing out the baby with the bath water in the sense this issue has clearly become a us against them issue could be the worst part of it .
I went with my my Grand Son to see the Bremerton Armory Friday to see off theBremerton National Guard off on Friday . They are going to Iraq soon .
It was quite the affair , to honor and support these fine men ." boys really most of them " I do not support the Iraq War , but I defintely support these men , and hopefully they all will come home safe . But it occurs to me we were all just citizens supporting them , and as my GrandSon loudly said there is my daddy marching in cadence , I felt these people of all creeds , beliefs , and such , regardless , were better people then I ever was . Some very well could be gay . heck , they could even be democrats . ahhhhh
But Ralph , that does mean I can have a view , based on culture , experince , facts as I see them , even religion motivated that having a formula of moving on from generation to generation is best when a man and a women head that household , and having a standard that promotes that , or guide us in the direction .
Anyway ..
Cultural Wars go on , but I believe God wants us all to be happy and safe .
Hopefully one day we can argue and debate about things like how to help folks who have no home , or are hungary .

I hoped the Christian Conservatives American's should get involved to tnis coming election & not to vote this liberal politician's who no longer
fear w/ God.The world will really chnged if Obama win's since he is supporting everything that is againts the teaching of God.Even though I don't like McCain @ least he know's same sex is a sin
