Obama Gets Rid Of His Flag And Takes On Dobson
This past week was Obama 24/7 in the news. With all three major networks sending their star anchors along with him, there was little lost in his trip. Clearly he is their man.
What you may not have heard is that Obama got rid of his American flag and he is running negative radio ads that are directed at James Dobson and Focus on the Family.
During the primary, Obama and his people flew around in a 757. As part of a month-long aircraft makeover, a painted American flag on the tail of the plane has been removed and replaced with his trademark "O" symbol. (Read article).
Most official U.S. government aircraft, including Air Force One, have American flags on their tails as did Obama's, originally.
Both Fox News and The Chicago Sun Times posted pictures of the redressed airplane, which does not have the American flag or any other U.S. symbols on the section that sports the airplane door from which Obama and his party will enter and exit.
The plane, however, is required to have small identification numbers with an American flag to identify the nationality of the aircraft.
All this probably doesn't mean anything because Obama has said he loves his country and Mrs. Obama has said she is now proud of her country.
On another front, Focus on the Family is speaking out against a new pro-Obama radio ad that is being aired on Christian radio stations, including in Colorado Springs where Focus is headquartered. The ads are directed at Dr. Dobson's recent criticism of some of Obama's theological positions. The new liberal political action committee, "Matthew 25" are paying for the ads that say in part:
"You know it's an election year when certain people start grabbing headlines by attacking the faith of presidential candidates. With all these stones being cast at Senator Obama, it can be hard to know what to believe---but in Luke, Jesus taught us that we must listen to what a man says because out of the overflow of his heart, his mouth speaks."
Carrie Gordon Earll from Focus, says their response would be Christ's words in Matthew 7:20, "You will know them by their fruits."
Earll says Obama's fruit is not in line with a biblical worldview, pointing out that he opposes a ban on partial birth abortion while supporting the deconstruction of marriage as we know it.
These, Earll says, are things that people need to know before they vote.

FYI, Obama's campaign plane is not an official US government aircraft. Of course if he did have a big flag on the tail of his plane, like Air Force One, Gary would have just written this post complaining about Obama acting persumptous as if he were President. Or more accurately the WND hack would have written it and Gary would have plagerized it on his blog, like his did this one.
You see, it doesn't matter what the facts are, Gary will spin them as "Obama is bad". Meanwhile, in between the whining about Obama's amount of coverage in the press, one would be hard pressed to determine from this blog that there is another candidate for President. Like the press Gary attacks, this blog is all Obama all the time.
Gary...
Do you really think the number of flags one displays on himself or campaign plane or automobile or lapel is truly any indication of one's degree of patriotism?
If you do, then you are an easy man to please. (And to fool.)

PS I'd love to see a quote or any factoid of information that shows me that Obama stands for the "deconstruction of marriage."
Firstly, Have you seen Obama's logo lately? It is an American flag in the shape of an O. It is still an American flag. (On the 4th of July weekend every MLB team had the American flag in the shape of their team logo. Were they not being patriotic either? I mean it was 4th of July and they were just wearing their team emblem. I know it is different because they are not in politics, but something to consider.)
Secondly, Everyone is going to have a different view on Obama's fruits versus Dobson's. All Dobson can seem to push for is legislation that economically insulates him. Where as Obama is willing to create, in theory, legislation that will benefit everyone. Mr. Randall please define deconstruction of marriage for me, it is one of those ugly weighty phrases that Evangelicals use but don't define. At least Obama actually wants children to stay alive after they are born. Where Dobson merely cares about their life for nine months and he merely hides behind political conservatism, masking it as religious conservatism. But thanks Mr. Randall for not falling into the Obama racism and mentioning Jeremiah Wright or claiming Obama is Muslim.
Excuse me? "Dr Dobson pushing legislation that economically insulate him!?
RYAN, Dr Dobson, is the most influential Christian man in America that has helped and encouraged families for years. Dr Dobson I am proud to say, literally helped us raise our children, through his teachings and books. He has helped us 'stay the course' of God's basic principles in our daily lives, raising children and more importantly, live the life that God expects us to live. No Ryan, you are mistaken. Dr Dobson has the committment of carrying out God's word to the world. Many are not listening. Our nation was first founded on God's basic principles, so stated by EVERY ONE one of the signers of our constitution!
As for marriages. With the 'demand' of one man and one women=marraige. Any other behaviours, God rejects. And so do we! Period!
Dr. Dobson advocates hurting people he does not like. That is not Christ.
