Vote: It's your Right and Responsibility
The coming election cycle of 2008 will set the course for the state and the country for years, possibly decades, to come.
You will decide who will lead.
James Garfield said, "Now more than ever, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the National Legislature---If the next centennial does not find us a great nation---It will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces."
This would apply to the state as well.
Bottom line? The future is up to you.
VOTE.
There are questions that some are asking in regard to caucuses, primaries and the difference between the two. There are also questions about how and when to register, how to get involved in the process and the important dates in the process.
Faith and Freedom Foundation will be and already is deeply involved in educating the public and stressing the importance of registering to vote, then voting.
Faith and Freedom PAC will be deeply involved in candidate recruitment and advocacy.
In an effort to help you better understand the process, we are linking you to The League of Women Voters of Washington. They are nonpartisan and non bias in their information. They have created a fact sheet about the Washington State caucuses, primaries and general election, including dates.
Going forward we will be providing a significant amount of information on this website relating to candidates and issues.
Remember. Your elected officials do not represent the voters in your district. They represent the voters who actually voted.
God bless you as you involve yourself in this important act of citizenship and stewardship of the great blessings we have received.
