Faith and Freedom sets new agenda

During the past several weeks each of us at Faith and Freedom have taken some time off, myself included, to rest and spend time with our families.

While we have not held strategy meetings or kept our regular blog schedule on the web site during this time, we have been confirming a number of things that we will be doing over the next 14 months.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be giving you confirmed information on the David Barton meetings that will be held across the state in 2008. We will also be confirming more strategy meetings. Watch for one in your area. We will be announcing and explaining our candidates' classes for those who feel they should run for political office or for those who want to effectively help those who will be running.

Our first "Change Your Culture" youth retreat will be held this November. Details and posters will be available.

We are finalizing plans for a major evangelism festival and outreach next summer.

These events along with local meetings across the state will all be directed toward the "CHANGE THE STATE IN '08" campaign.

This coming year will be a watershed year for our country and our state,

I don't believe that there has been a greater, more clearly defined battle for the culture than the one we face now.

There are those among us who seek to reorder and reengineer the most basic components of our social order, including marriage and the family.

I sincerely believe God is calling out people of faith to take an active stand for righteousness and Judeo-Christian principles in our society.

We are not only called to vote our values, but we must act on them in the months leading up to these most important elections.

Thank you for standing with us.

God bless you.

I just wanted to respond to the poll on the home page "Is homosexuality a choice?" I'm sure the 95% of those who said yes will also emphatically agree that sinning is a choice & we should all stop sinning.

~Just one sinner saved by grace.

Don't get me wrong--(Romans 6:1-3)
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

Gary,

re: New Agenda

This is the same old tired cross wrapped in a flag oppression and hypocrisy that you have been dispensing since you decided to disobey the clear text of scripture which informs us that He alone is to judge those without the church (I Cor 5:12, 13) and your responsibility is to judge those WITHIN the church.

Instead of genuinely working to bring justice and end violence against ALL (read: ALL) human beings, your agenda assets violence against peaceful human beings, assets oppression against your fellow Americans and similar evils.

True value voters, true Americans and true disciples of Jesus Christ will reject the twisting, manipulating and distortion which you regularly dispense.

It is sad that you have chosen to evil rather than follow the clear Word of God. You could be exalting the name of Jesus Christ - but instead you have chose to oppress with your sordid anti-Christ AOG religion.

Peace,
In Him who is the only real Peacemaker,
Human

You are a hypocrit in the highest degree. You desire and enjoy the freedoms of this country while damning those who defend the principles that give us those freedoms.
Gary Randall is exalting the name of Jesus Christ in ways that you will never even approach.
I am a Christian today because Gary led me to Christ a number of years ago.
I thank God that he has not been silenced by people like you.
I do not believe that you are truly a follower of Jesus Christ. Your words and your spirit betray you.

human or whoever you are. Your theology and understanding of the Bible is twisted.
Christians are to be responsible people and are to occupy until Christ returns. In this country, unlike others, we have a democracy in which peo0ple are to participate. Left to people like you, we would be surving some dictator with no real freedom to serve christ or express our faith.
I really don't think you are for real. I think you live for the responses, like mine, that you get on this site.
My friend, you need help.

When I saw "new agenda" on the Faith and Freedom home page, my heart started to beat... Would Gary give up our battle against the homos? I was relieved after reading the post that -- YES! -- he will still fight to ensure that homos can't get married!

Just maybe, if we throw enough oppression their way and strip them of their dignity, maybe they'll be forced to conform to Christianity (at least our version of it -- the REAL version).

We are for FREEDOM, people! (Just not the freedom to marry who you choose.) But other freedoms, yes. (But not all... the freedoms MUST conform to Christian beliefs.) So long as you live within the limits of a biblical life, we'll allow you those freedoms. Thank you, Gary, for not giving up the fight!!!!

Fighting the homos is so much more important than:

Iraq
Hunger
Schools/education
Unwanted children
Homelessness
Environment
Wealth inequality
Gang violence
Racism
Darfur
Etc.

Nothing is more important! And I'm sure Gary agrees because it's the only cause you mentioned in this post. The more time we waste on things like hunger and suffering and children, the more time the homos have to implement their agenda.

Before we know it -- poof -- society as we know it will be in ruins! I know that if gay marriage is allowed, I'd be tempted to join in and become gay-married too (and so would many of my neighbors and friends I've asked)... We are just a law change away from all becoming homos! That would mean a break-down of our families and ALL OF SOCIETY. Wake up, people!!!

I'm looking forward to participating in Change the State in '08 in order to put Republicans back in control of Congress and in our state.

Yes, like most of you, I am concerned that so many family-values Republicans either get caught soliciting homo sex in parks, coming on to children with homo come-ons in chats, or hire prostitutes... (like so many of our family values preachers! - sigh.) But we have to trust them and pray for them!!! I know they are on our side because they say so. Or at least I think they are. Are they? At any rate…

Keep up the good work, Gary. We're praying for you!!!

Angela,

Gary is not bent on "throwing oppression" at ANYONE nor is he trying to strip ANYONE of their dignity. Of course he cares about the feeding of hungry and children.

I don't believe that you are for real. Who are you writing for? The left? Trying to make us look bad???

Jim,

I appreciate the love and grace that you extended to me since you are the "real Christian".

Please be aware that Gary has not led you anywhere (anywhere towards Christ that is). If you were genuinely saved at one point in your life, it was the Holy Spirit who brought your poor sorry soul to the foot of the Christ in the EXACT same manner that He did for my poor sorry soul.

BTW - there are all kinds of people leading all kinds of people to "Christ", to Buddha, etc. As Jesus said, you will know them by their works - Gary's work is founded on lying and hypocrisy and partisan spin. I can show you several specific examples whenever you are genuinely ready to get right with God.

Peace,
In Christ,
Human

I assume this is Gary - thanks Gary for the welcome back - I try to drop in from time to time - trusting the Lord to lead me.

BTW - you can say my theology is wrong, BUT I have yet to hear a single person actually address the numerous texts from scripture that I have provided. The reason is simple - you are peacefully co-existing in the relgion of Evangelicalism that is nothing but warmed over papism.

I recommend trying the real thing - a living, glorified Man standing at the right hand of Glory.

Peace,
Human

"Of course he[Gary] cares about the feeding of hungry and children."

I see evidence of that on this site. Where are FFN's efforts on behalf of feeding the hungry?

"I don't believe that you are for real. Who are you writing for? The left? Trying to make us look bad???"

Where can I sign up to write for "The left"? does it pay well?
As for making you look bad, you're doing a bang-up job that on your own, no help required, from "the left" or anyone else!

You are right I was not exactly polite in my way of assuming you were not for Gary as you mentioned but against him. That was rude and I apologize for my rudeness.

so b,

where are FFN's efforts to feed the hungry? Where are their efforts to help the needy in any way shape or form? Looking at this website it seems that FFN doesn't stand for anything, they are defined by their stances against gays and abortion.

You have descended from "rudeness" to simply dishonesty. You know that you were not being "rude" - stupid, yes - rude, no. However, you are hiding under some silly pretense in an effort to recover.

I recommend simply honesty - no apologies to anyone necessary.

Peace,

human, are you bipolar or manic/depressive??? You seem to go off on a tangent and then maybe after a smoke of weed, are all calm! I don't know; but, your letter of the law regarding the Holy Scripture in ways that you interpret them seems to gaul you a lot when any other person sees things different or interprets things different! You seem to crave "peace" over all else?

Hello Angela - welcome to the board!

I'm trying to determine where your passions lie - I am going to assume you work closely with third world nations in a tireless and sincere effort to eradicate all those attendant problems you outlined - are you guilty of ?an anti-Muslim bent when you list many of your concerns?Iraq (Let Sharia Ring and all homosexuals die) hunger (despots and dictators door #1) schools/education (females need never apply) unwanted children (use as human shields or suicide bombers - you pick) homelessness (Refugee Camps 'R' Us) environment (IEDs as urban weedkillers) Darfur (ethnic Arab Muslims cleansing black Christians) wealth inequality (despots and dictators door #2) gang violence (beheadings) racism (can you spell DHIMMI?)

Wait a minute - I surely hope you weren't referring to the USofA when you itemized your list....? If so, perhaps it's time to wake up and smell America.

Hi, Mimi...

Thank you for the welcome (and from so far away)!! I'm glad to be here! I've been reading for a long time, but haven't written until today. I've read your posts -- thank you!! They really crack me up sometimes...

And today-- AGAIN! -- you've really opened my eyes. I've been so focused on eradicating homos that I never realized how much Muslims contribute to hunger, unwanted children, homelessness, and so many of our second-place ills, etc. etc. etc.

Still, you won't convince me that they are as bad as homos, but will you be OK if I list "Muslims" in the number 2 position of "greatest evils"?

And of course I wasn't referring to the USA when I put that list together. We are lucky to be immune to those issues. We still have a minority of Muzzies here (I just made that up!!!) so we don't really have to deal with any of those issues -- much, for now. Thank GOD!

Well, keep up the good work in Massachusetts...you're having a real impact out there!!

- Angela

I see our cyber bully is posting anonymously again. Where o' where is our valiant and stalwart Mick Sheldon to cry crocodile tears over this atrocity?

What's that you say? Anonymous @ 3:30 IS Mick Sheldon? No! It simply cannot be so! Mick is such a fine, upstanding member of the community, he'd never resort to sock-puppetry!
