WA Governor Gregoire Continues to Define Marriage
It was widely reported that Washington’s Governor Gregoire not only attended but spoke to the Gay and Lesbian Leadership Conference in Seattle last month. In doing so, she became the first acting Governor to do so in the history of the State of Washington.
The Seattle PI expressed disappointment that she stopped short of endorsing gay marriage in Washington but reported that she extolled the progress that is being made in the State on behalf of gays and lesbians.
Gregoire vowed unequivocal support on the civil rights bill for homosexuals (1515).
“We still need to move forward,” she said. “The new law failed by one vote in the Senate, but should not be seen as a loss.” She said, “We have not lost, we have begun, we will win.”
Ed Murray, D-Seattle, Washington’s most openly gay legislator said, “She stood with us as Attorney General and she’s stood with us as Governor.”
However, in a less reported story, the Governor seems to be struggling a bit with the facts.
Sharon, known on the internet as Research Mom, pointed out to Faith & Freedom that the Governor, speaking at a luncheon last month said, “When it comes to education, Washington shouldn’t compare itself with states such as Georgia and North Carolina, because doing so meant comparing Washington to mediocrity.” (Puget Sound Business Journal).
However, according to the Fordham Foundation’s review of the standards for all fifty states, Washington State standards fail in both English and Mathematics. They report:
Georgia; English Grade, B; Math Grade, B
North Carolina; English Grade, B; Math Grade, C
Washington; English Grade, F; Math Grade, F
Perhaps Gregoire should spend a little more time seeking ways to improve our public education and less time advancing the homosexual agenda.
The Puget Sound Business Journal contacted the office of Georgia Governor, Sonny Perdue, regarding Gregoire’s comment. The Governor of Georgia’s response: “Georgia citizens are educated enough not to let somebody steal the governor’s office.”
Ronald Reagan once said, “Facts are funny things.”

Only God can thwart the plans of strategically-positioned homosexual advocates to legislate the redefinition of evil as "good" and good "evil". There has never been a time in our state's or nation's history in which free expression of Christianity has been more threatened by the minority. God will uphold His own moral laws if His people will humbly pray, repent, and call upon His Name, Jehovah-Sabaoth, Lord of Hosts to deliver us from this darkness. To whom much is given, much is required. We have been given a voice in our government, and will lose it if we don't exercise that God-given right!
Please help me understand how a couple guys getting married down the street threatens your 'free expression of Christianity"?
will not accept political Correctness as being the culprit, it is the ANTI CHRIST CULTURE and devised by Secular Communist which moved to the Democratic Party after the collapse of the Soviet Union. There is no Communist Party such in our politics today as it was prevalent during the 1960's.
Unfortunately in 1965 Angela Davis a Communist Sympathizer infiltrated the University system in California and won her court case allowing her to stay as a Professor at UC Berkley in Berkley Ca, this opened the insurgence of Communists into the UNIVERSITY REGENTS across America: a devised infiltration to attack AMERICA within.
They have long sense taken control of our Elementary School Systems and are Terrorizing America through our Schools. They took out Prayer, Now they are attacking the TERM CHRIST, and any mentioning of GOD.
In the Place of God they have Used the RIGHTS of just one Child who came to America and are being used to Attack Religion, only that Child is fictitious for it is a Child of That Secular Teacher that is whom the Parents and contest the use of any mentioning of a God in School systems.
Without our Religion, America will not be the same, it is the back bone of our survival, a COUNTRY Devised by our Founding Fathers to allow us all to have our Religion as we wish to serve it exist through UNITY in our Existence.
Take out God from being mentioned and we will be holding Church underground and in secrete places. I contend that if it had been devised to remove Religion as we use it , not as was in the UK ONE Church and only one Church of England as our Forefathers left and designed a Christian Based civilization. Our Founding Fathers would have placed into our Constitution much more mentioning of Church and our Government.
The Only mentioning of Church and State within our Constitution is; "No government shall make laws against or establishing a Religion" MEANING like the Church of England, the only recognized Church during that time.
The Communist also devised a particular Lawyer Establishment to help fight their attacking our way of life. TODAY we call them the ACLU.
Ask the UCLU to take on Government when our Religious Rights are being taken away and they will abstain.
Gays want to Take god out of everything encluding Marriage.

OK, I could comment a lot, but to stay on subject - I'm still trying to understand the problem with gay marriage and the 'free expression of Christianity". Are people in Massachusetts, England, Canada, etc. not free to practice Christianity as they choose?
